Hey Rob,

It was great to finally catch up with you on Skype today.

This is a great post and creating the best blog I possibly can is going to be the key to my success online.

I echo the point Josh made about photos. When I break up a “list” post with some photos it does it the world of good on the social media website. Most people just scan online rather than read so the photos help to break up large chunks of text.

Excellent points, Rob. I need to keep in mind the length. So far it hasn’t been an issue for me but some posts have been getting a tad long. Also the topics is something to remember if for no other reason then having more things to write about.

Great solid tips here Rob,

I think its really important to write in an easy to read personal tone to connect with your readers.

I would add in to this list adding in pics to break up big posts. (And bullet points) This can help break the “wall of text” up for readers if the post is a little longer.

I really agree with the dont overdo it bit, I think splitting larger posts up into series can really help. I know I love reading posts like that more than big ones all in one go!
